Example: MDcircle.com

A more effective way is to join a network that is actively building a large community that benefits patients and doctors. MDcircle does all the work for you to market your practice and give you feedback on the performance of your network.

Example: Let’s see what it takes to attract 100 new patients. Your main goal is to attract new patients. So if 100 patients click on your ad after a search, how many will actually call for an appointment? This is dependent on many factors such as the detail and completeness of your ad, the average patient rating, the number of ratings and the number of doctor referrals you have given and received. What makes MDcircle so attractive is that we help patients do a search on so many criteria so by the time they get to you; they are ready to make the call.

The cost of MDcircle is $50 a month regardless of how many patients call you. So if 100 patients visit at a 50% conversion rate, your cost per patient is $1. If 1000 patients visit at a 50% conversion rate, your cost per patient is $0.1. Worst case is $50 if you only get 1 patient to pennies per patient once you create a detailed high profile. What were people thinking paying for users who clicked on their ads by mistake?

Conversion rate greater that 50%.
New patient cost $50-$0.01.
A website is NOT required.

Example: Phone Book

The problem with phone books is that there is limited information about a practice, no patient reviews, no interaction. Patients use the phonebook as a last resort and randomly select a doctor or once they have a friend’s recommendation and require contact information.

Example: Call-Forwarding Pay-Per-Call

Call forwarding services display doctors' ads with a toll-free telephone number. When users click the ad, they see a brief information page about the practice. This doesn’t require a website. Example is YellowPages.com.

When a patient calls the number, the pay-per-call service forwards the call to the practice. The doctor pays for each forwarded phone call at a cost of $10-$20 each. Call prices vary between $10 and $20 each. Conversion rates for this service are about 10%. If 100 patients call, that will cost you $1000-$2000. If 10% make an appointment, your new patient marketing cost is $100-$200. You also pay for wrong numbers, telemarketers, equipment companies, vendors. This can be expensive.

Conversion rate 10%.
New patient cost $100-$200.
This does not require that you have a website.

Pay-Per-Click

Pay-per-click places ads on search engines, such as Google and Yahoo!, to drive people to your web site. These sponsored links appear on the right side or top of the results page when running a Google search.

How does pay-per-click work? You bid on keywords they you believe potential patients would type when searching to find a specialist like you. The keywords are related to your business. For example, if you are a NYC plastic surgeon would bid on keywords such as "NYC plastic surgery".

When someone searches for a keyword in Google, ads by the top doctors bidding for those key words appear on the search results page. The doctor that bid the most for those key words are listed first. When Google searchers click the ad, they are taken to that doctor’s web site. The doctor pays the keyword bid price to Google (can be pennies to more that $10 depending on word popularity) only when someone clicks their ad. You can set a budget and limit how much you want to spend on pay-per-click.

Example: Let’s see what it takes to attract 100 new patients. Your main goal is to attract new patients. So if 100 people click on your ad, how many will actually call for an appointment? This is dependent on many factors but the industry norm is 1%-5%. Which results in 1-5 patients. If your bid for the add words was $10 and 100 patients clicked on your ad, it cost you $1000 to have those patients come to your website. So if you have 1-5 patients that actually make an appointment, your new patient marketing cost is $1000-$200. You also pay for users who clicked by mistake and competitors who want to spend your marketing budget.

Conversion rate 1-5%.
New patient cost $200-$1000.
This requires that you also have a website.

How do new patients find you? How do new patients find you?
Currently there is limited information that is available about your practice on the Internet that may simply include your name and address information. MDcircle.com changes all that. We give you the ability to create a high visibility full page profile that patients can find on Goggle, AOL, Yahoo, MSN... We drive traffic and potential new patients to you. We give you the tools to measure what is working and what is not.

How do you leverage your existing patients to get new patients? How do you leverage your existing patients to get new patients?
Approximately 40% of new patients are the result of referrals from friends, family, and other patients. That means that 60% of new patients come from patients researching information about your practice mostly on line. The most significant online reviews for patients concern their health care. The greatest impact on your practice are positive reviews from your patients. Garnering positive reviews from your patients will help guarantee new patient visits increasing your bottom line.

Are your patients satisfied or unhappy with your service? Is your disgruntled staff
hurting your efforts? How do you know? Are your patients satisfied or unhappy with your service? Is your disgruntled staff hurting your efforts? How do you know?
MDcircle.com sends you a monthly report about your practice rankings, patient reviews and detailed patience experience. You no longer have to wonder if your patients are having a problem with the check-in, check-out, staff, billing or any other services. You can get direct feedback BEFORE it can impact your bottom line.

How do you increase your practice exposure and gain more patients? How do you increase your practice exposure and gain more patients?
You could advertise in the yellow pages but that is no longer the preferred method for patients to find you. Besides, there is no way to find out if your ad is generating new patients. You could advertise directly with the major search engines like Goggle, Yahoo, and MSN. This option is 100x more expensive than MDcircle.com and is only 1% as effective. Why? Because when you advertise in the open internet, the ads are seen by anyone. You will be charged whenever someone clicks on your ad whether they are interested in your service, curious or just clicked by mistake.

We created MDcircle.com to do all the marketing for you. A very large internet pool of active patients are already here looking for you! We are working 24x7 to constantly increase the number of patients involved. All you have to do is create a high profile ad on MDcircle.com. You get monthly reports on the performance of your profile ad and on patient leads that have resulted in new patients. When patients come to you from MDcircle.com, they have done their research and are ready for an appointment.

Do you have an effective internet presence to reach new patients? Do you have an effective internet presence to reach new patients?
Patients use the internet to research medical issues, locate and review doctors BEFORE they call for an appointment. If not, you are limiting your practice revenue! Do you have the tools to maximize your public profile, reach out to new patients and measure what works? Now you do with MDcircle.com.

MDcircle.com provides a monthly report on the number of visitors, number of referrals, and number of new patients. We drive traffic to your web site if you have one. The visitors are real patients interested in your services not random internet users that you would get by simply having your own web site. Your own web site is not even required since the goal is to convert users looking for your services to new patients. We do that through your profile listing. This saves you the expensive process of designing and maintaining a web site. If you already do have a web site, we simply make you site more effective.
